1.5 vs 1.6 rockers on SBC
right now i have a set of summit roller tip 1.5 rockers (very lightly used about 5k miles) and i think i want to run the XE274 cam with :274/286-230/236 .490/.490 110LSA 106CL, (i have heard these cams are have a tendency to cause very noisey valve train, is this true) i know that the ramp on these came high, but could i get away with running 1.6 rockers or should i just stay away from the 1.6's as they wouldn't be worth the added stress and just run the 1.5's

I wouldn't recommend 1.6 rockers with any of the XE or Voodoo cams for the reason you mentioned. The lobes ramps are close to maxed as they are. If you need more from the cam order another grind.
