66 ford mustang head identification

hey fellas i have a 66 mustang with the 289 sb. i am trying to identify the cylinderheads under the valve cover it is stamped 302. along with 2j14 and b23 i know this is not much info to go on. but im guessing they are off a 302.but wondering if the other numbers and letters there could possibly tell me more. any info is greatly appreciated thanks in advance!

If it says 302 then that's what it is, the actual casting number that would tell you the application is located under the head, by one of the pushrod holes. You can only see it when the intake is off, with a mirror. The casting number is more important than the date code, as there were differences between the combustion chambers and ports.

You can tell a little bit from what type of rocker setups it has, the pedestal rockers were from later motors.

The 2J14 appears to be the casting date code. That would have it cast on Sept 14,1972. Making it, most likely, a 1973 302 head.
