Sounds OK to me. How do I get reimbursed for the shipping charges? Thanks.

I would imagine the fair thing to do would be for the winner to pay you for the shipping and send winning bid money to the site.

FWIW- Having just bid on and won a set of rods and pistons, what WE did was I paid freespeech@hotrodders.com via PayPal the amount of the part.

The seller was then notified of this payment and I contacted the seller in re shipping charges.

Then, I was sent an estimate of shipping charges, which I also paid via PP. Then the parts were shipped.

In my particular case, shipping was estimated at $16.00, the actual charge will be closer to $35 with PP fee reimbursement, etc.- which I will send out as soon as the package has been received.

Had the shipping estimate been correct, the seller would have had all his money for shipping before hand- that isn't how it worked out in this case, though.

Oops - I've been really busy and got all side-tracked. It is December already, isn't it? I will try to get the axle all packed-up and find out what the shipping cost will be. Guess I better ask...Where will I be shipping it? Just email me the info at retiredfireguy47@comcast.net
Thanks.

Hey In-Charge-Guy...I got my shipping costs already. Did you guys get the bid amount? I'm ready to ship if you're happy. Thanks.

Parts rec'd, reimbursement to seller for added shipping and PP fees made via PP.

Done Deal.

Now, no one in his right mind would ever spend $51 for a used set of rods- but just remember that it DOES go to a noble cause (well, except for the USPS- who made more than ANYBODY! ) lol
