1951 Chev 3100 truck

Does the 1951 Chev 3100 truck body have side vent louvers on both sides of the cab or only on the passenger side

It was for the heater intake. The stock heater bolted to the side of the cowl under the glove box.

early chevrolet 6cyl bellhousing and exhaust

looking for a 235 chevrolet 6 cyl bellhousing to bolt a late model 4 speed transmission to. What other problems will I run into making this swap. Does any one make a complete duel exhaust kit...headers to exhaust tip for a 1951 Chevrolet truck 3100 with a 235 6 cyl motor.

The popular swap is the T5 five speed used by GM thru the eighties and nineties. On the exhaust system there are tons of headers and such out there. I have Fenton Cast Iron headers for mine.

You need to check out the "Stovebolters" forum at http://www.stovebolt.com/ It is THE best forum for these trucks.
