355 sbc from e85/gas to 100% methanol ?

i have a twin turbo 355 that id like to run on 100% methanol
but i have a few questions first
my only experiance with a 100% alky motor was on the old tad dragster which obviously is alot different then a street/strip/boneville car

first up is ive been running e-85 instead of gas so i could get in a e-85 base tune, the past few days temps have been close to 0* and ive been having a hard time starting the car

now i know this hard starting will be alot worse on 100% methanol but i was wondering if a block heater combined with a much higher comperession ratio help out with this

currently the motor sits at 9.5-1 with a 72cc head and if i do switch to methanol id get new heads that bumped that up into the 12.0-12.5-1 range wich should still be tolerable on e-85 and low boost ( that is if the need for me to fillup with e-85 should ever arise)

or would i still need someway of starting this motor when its cold on gas ?

now onto the intake
currently im using a gm tpi intake this intake just wont cut it on 100% methanol as there is no room to add an injector for each cyl i.e 2 injectors staged per cyl.

so id more then likley have to go single plane liek a team g, or vic jr/victor
are there any other options for an intake that can be modified for dual injectors per cyl other then going sheetmetal ?

What size (pounds per hour) are you currently using?

If you had to double up on injectors the total power requirement to operate them would most likely exceed the ability of the drivers in the computer to supply that much power. This could use a booster driver or aftermarket computer with greater electrical capability from the injector driver circuit.

A block heater would certainly help get it started.

anyway i look at it i need to up my injector size. currently i have precision low z 65# injectors , at minimum i would need 120#'s and those would only support the same power now that my 65's can on gas

so i could use the 65's for cruising part throttle and then kick in the second bank of 120's under harder acceleration and wot(though id have to do the math and see if the 120's+the 65's would even be enough).im using a megasquirt ecm so the injectors arent an issue, though i have to dbl check to see if i can drive 16 low-z injectors with it, i belive u can only drive that many high -z injectors but i can get around that with resitor packs or something like the versafueler

how much will the block heater help? i do recall us having to start the dragster on gas if it was around 45* or below

Getting it to start on Methanol alone will be a nightmare! I run it in my UMP Modified dirt car. I keep a gatorade bottle with gas for starting. Otherwise it will flood and foul the plugs.
