they are tuff. the glass has to slide forward in the track. at the very front of the door where the vent window sat you have to do work. you have to increase the depth of the channel some. if not painted no big deal. i heat and use a blunt hammer to push out the channel some. the weatherstrip hides it anyway.

the kits come with felt channel but not the metal forward channel. there is none. it is best to get a piece from some other door to hold the window when down. if not you can break the glass slamming the door. which everyone does trying to fit it flush. the door never fit flush. it stuck out 1/8 from the factory. if the channel from the straight edge by the vent is good you can use it to hold the glass.
hope this helps.

i got mine from brotherstrucks.com. they are not as dark as shown in their catalog.

trying to fit a trapazoid window in a square channel is a little tricky,
they have to make the glass a little narrow at the points to get it to go up and down.
i used 06 durango power regulators for freebie power

thanks shine.

they do look good and inexpensive too. my truck had chrome trim windows that i was going to re-use, but after getting the truck together with shaved doors they didn't look right. plus they needed sooo much work that it would have cost me over $800 to get it right using stock windows. the 1 pc kit is $229 on sale.
