73 nova

can i put a 74 buick 350 into my 73 nova,easily or would it be allot of work?

The 73 Apollo (Buicks' "Nova") came with Buick power, so you'd need the motor mount stands and mounts (the cross member is probably already drilled for the mount stands), probably some rewire work for starter motor, ect., possibly a bigger radiator, but what you're proposing was a factory setup.

Check your bolt pattern, you might also need a transmission adapter if you're not using the BOP's transmission.

The alingment pins and 4 of the 6 bolts will line up, but the other two wont match the trans. Some guys run them that way, but I wouldn't. If I had a good 350 Buick I'd put it up for sale and use the money I got to find a decent 350 Chevy and bolt it right in.

I would agree you can probably sell that motor and find a nice sb chevy for the same money.
