how or where can i find a new top for a 35 two door sedan?

Do you want to keep it stock, or do you just want to put a top on it to fill the roof?

If you want to keep it stock I really don't know if anyone makes a top, you would more than likely have to get one from another 35.

If you just want to fill the hole, most go to the yard and get a donor top, or roof, to use.

Depends on where you are, but the chap who I bought my original '35 from often sends me links to cars and parts for sale on Kijiji. You might try searching there. I do know that there were a couple of '35's on there recently, mostly just shells.
The idea of nabbing another roof off anything that is big enough sounds good to me as well. You may need the use of an English wheel to bring it to the exact shape you need, but it's another solution.
How's the wood in your '35 if you don't mind me asking?
