1965 mustang 302
hey everyone. so im putting a 302 in my stang and im upgrading to power steering. I've been reading that tri y headers will need some work to fit... does anyone know about this?? also im putting a AOD tranny in too and heard that the headers will need work to fit too ????

to be honest I would stay away from tri-Y for that set up. Tri Y are more of a chevy thing. Some long tubes will do just fine and my suggestions is to get the power steering in first. You will have to the pitman arm (there different from power to manual) and also you have to get a bracket to hold the power cylinder in place. You also have to get a power steering pump (obvious)
Also for your AOD, I would finish that installation first before buying and putting the headers on, that way you can maneuver around the parts that cannot be moved. |
