2001 cadilac deville with leaking head gasket

Hello,
I am the owner of an '01 DeVille with a leaky head gasket. I checked the internet and have seen products ranging from $10 to >$250. does anyone have any experience with these products working and also clogging the radiator and heater core?
Thanks

The only REAL fix is a new head gasket. The products you are looking at might be a band aid for a few hours/days/weeks, but you will end up with a new head gasket or a dead car

I dont believe in cure in a can. I have heard good things about a product called Kseal. I have never used it.

The product K seal does work, But IIRC it says dont use on northstars.
Anyway, the gasket didnt fail, the head bolts are pulling the threads out of the block, causing a head gasket to fail. The right and only way(IMHO) to fix this is to take off the heads , helicoil the block as The GM tech bulletins instruct and re assemble.
this is one of those times that mechanic in a can will just be a disaster.
I have put K seal in an old raggedy @** Cavalier with a 2.2 and in less than 5 minutes it sealed the leak, The car was not worth the time to fix it, nor would the price of parts justify it.
A car like a Cadillac in nice shape,it should be fixed correctly the first time.

latech knows of what he speaks. he's right on the money on this one, and I've done more than a few Northstars. Not an easy job to pull that caddy motor out and do ALL the head bolt threads, but that's the only way to do it.
