body filler question
Hello, I had to put some mud on my roof from a patch panel I put I my roof. well winter caught up to me and I didn't get a chance to put paint over the spot with filler. The car is in an UN heated garage, but out of the . Also, I never sanded the last coat of body filler. With all the threads I've read about filler and moisture, I'm a little worried about it. Do you think I need to remove it all and start over? Let be know your thoughts. Thanks.

Id just grab the nearest rattle can that you have and spray a coat on there , if you have to do a final sand any how whats the harm. it should protect it enough till you can finish it. ive had two cars in bare metal in a un heated garage for three years now and nothing but a tiny surface rust , wipes off with your hand. try the rattle can itll do the job

it should be fine but pay attention when you do sand it and watch the edges as you sand the bondo off the metal to see if its got any sign of rust underneath the bondo ,unless its gotten wet it should be ok...
