67-72 Chevy pickup idea

I just had this idea rolling around my head to cut the back window area off a car, chop the top of a 67-72 Chevy pickup and weld the back window of the car on the back of the cab. Weld the box to the cab and fill in the area under the car back window to have an enclosed cargo area. The idea is to make the cab a little bigger, big enough to have reclining seats.

That would be interesting. How about painting the making the cab white and splitting the white cab and black body with some chrome trim. Whels look cool too, though a bit large.

Looks better than an Avalanche. I think the 67-72 (more specifically the 69-72s) are the best looking pickups GM ever built.

Ok idea but problem is when you change one thing ecs something that apparant on an early model truck or car you have to make other mods aswell to balance out the vehicle one major mod alone like that will look like an afterthought plus truck would look great low!!!!!!!

Might be easier, and cooler (IMHO), to start with a 'burb of the same era... Had a friend that slammed, shaved, and chopped one. Not my thing, but a very nice truck!

I think changing the angle of the windshield on that red truck ruins it.

i originaly did a photoshop of it with a lengthened roof and a stock angle windsheild, but it didnt look right. looked like when someone takes a 68 tempest and chops it 13 inches, the roof length didnt jive with the windsheild height

so for that truck, i decided to leave the windsheild and roof stock and swing them back / down, then lengthen the rest of the cab to fit
