shuts down

I have a 1990 suburban, after about 10 minutes running it shuts down. the service engine light is on.
I have replaced everything in the ignition system includeing the ecm.
i have replaced everything in the fuel system except the tank. this includes the fuel pump relay.

afer running about 10 minutes it shuts down and wont restart, no fire.
then after about 3-4 hours it will start only to run 10 minutes and shut down.

help frazzeled

i would attach a fuel pressure gauge. even if you installed a new fuel pump this is exactly what it sounds like to me.... sometimes even new parts or reman parts are bad... sounds like the pump is running at normal pressure (around 16psi +/-) then getting hot and losing pressure, after a few mins cools off and repeats the process, attach a gauge in fuel line and watch it the entire time it is running

What are the stored codes? That's where to start.

If you have verified there's no spark, I'd suspect a faulty module- but instead of throwing part$ at it, diagnose it first, then replace only what's actually needed.
