Post Silly new guy.

[quote]While I was waiting I asked the "new" parts guy for a radiator cap for a 72' VW beetle. It took the guy over five minutes and he came back to me saying, we dont carry that, its a special order.(hint, hint, there air cooled) Now would you want a guy like that ordering parts for your car?

- BuggyMan (from another thread)
Heh, this doesn't have anything to do with cars, but his reminded me of it. Once we got a new kid down at the Dairy Queen and he kept pestering me about what he should do next... what you want me to do now, etc. So finally i got annoyed and told him "Listen, we are out of peanut butter up here, i need you to find me some peanut butter NOW, it is back in the freezer, don't come back to me until you have gotten the peanut butter out of the freezer." He musta been in there for 20 minutes. Finally asked the boss where the peanut butter was, and he fell out of his comfy chair laughing that he was in the freezer for 20 minutes looking for peanut butter. then he showed him which cabinet it was in. He never asked me what he should do next again.

Thats ok, I just started a job last working at a shop. Those guys are down right evil. The stuff they find funny is kinda crazy, oh well its all good. I spent a hour trying to unbolt the driveshaft from the rear end. I was almost to the point of removing the entie rear end from the car. Low and behold to little ol me all you do is slide it to the right and pull it out of the trany. They kept laughing at me as I tried to figure out how to do it.
