Silly Question

On the 40's/50's rods, what's the visor type thing that attaches to the roof but shelds the windsheild? would it be called a visor? Any directons to help me find one for a 46 ford coupe would be great.

It is called a "visor" but they didn't make any as far as I know for the 46 Ford. Well.......come to think of it.......maybe there was some accessory ones made for the forties cars in the fifties when they were so popular.

Just looked on ebay, theres a few in there but not for Ford, you may have to do some good old fabricating.

Visor

Theres a company that makes them for the older cars,try putting a wanted add on the H.A.M.B. website I've seen them listed but the name of the company escapes me.

I ran across a site while looking for shifter knobs and nostalgic stuff for my car.

Check out www.thenightprowlers.com. They have fiberglass visors for many year/model cars. Not sure if this is what you're looking for.

It came to me,Google: Fulton sunvisors , you will get plenty of hits should be able to find one for your '46
