a simple headlight mount clean up mod

The following pictures show a simple mod that requires no refinishing, just a cut and install.

The problem: on the bottom of the headlight bucket the mounting pad flares out. When installed the flared part hangs over the edge of the mount post . . Making the joining of the parts look mismatched.

Solution: Cut the flared mount off, after that you will need to replace that flare mounting area that was remove. In order to set and hold the lights adjustment.

Solution to that: a fender washer ........ how simple id that? see pictures

Enjoy
