Simple way to measure small quanities of primer

I thought I would pass along a tip on how to measure out small quantities of primer.

I often only mix 2 ounces of primer and have a simple way of measuring it.

I use SOLO paper cups, the kind that nuts and mints are placed in at a party.

I bought a sleeve of 1 ounce and a sleeve of 2 ounce cups at a grocery supply.

For SPI epoxy the mix is 1:1, so I either mix up 1 ounce of each by filling two 1 ounce cups or 2 of the 2 ounce cups.

I just toss the cups out after one use.

If I wanted 8 ounces of mixed paint I will use a total of 4 of the 2 ounce cups, filling each , then pouring into a mixing cup.

Super tip!

I have a bunch of small foam cups that I use to mix
waterbased paints. (They'd probably melt with solvent paint.)
