If all you had to do was sew two or three layers of fabric together it would work fine, but it won't handle a complete car interior. It only has drop feed, which means the only thing moving the work through the machine is the feed dogs. Compound feed walking foot machines have needle feed as well.
The 241 does not have reverse, does not have a walking foot (alternating presser feet), and has a limited lift, so you wouldn't be able to sew anything very thick. It's a pretty old machine as well, probably 60 years old or older. There's nothing wrong with an old machine, but there are far better machines to do car interiors with.
