single and dual groove pulleys

specifically water pump pulleys. just got a new w.p. and it says it is not designed for a dual groove pulley.im running crank,w.p.,and alt. on a single groove(one belt)pulleys.what would i do if i wanted to run dual groove pulleys but kept the w.p.? would some sort of spacer work or should i just sit and stare at it til it hits me? other than returning the water pump, what can a guy do here?

As long as the new duel groove pulley is on the crank and the groove closest to the block is the same distance as the single groove pulley that you have now it will not effect the existing water pump pulley. The outside groove can be used for power steering pump and /or air conditioning. I do not remember seeing a duel groove pulley on a water pump.Bud
