single exhaust on 427...

I drive a 427 chevy dump truck at work. It's a 1990 kodiak .Is it worth it to make it dual exhaust? How much of a difference, power and mileage-wise will it make?

if its offroad use just straightpipe it and ditch the cat(being a buisness theyd probabally bust you for being on the open road without it) or if it has a pipe after the muffler take it off for a few ponies and alot more noise nothin like bigblock thunder.
