single plane for truck
 
I have a dodge 2500 and looking to get a new manifold, a friend told me to get a single plane but I always thought dual was best for trucks. Fuel injected 5.9. My tires spin from a stop like crazy. Maybe the single plane would move the torque higher in the rpm range. It can spin 6500. Is this a good idea or would it simply run like ****?

What years? Does it have throttle body fuel injection. Usally for intakes songle and dual plane are for carb motors. Usally if you have after market manifold that fuel injected it is usally a tbi style but most factory tbi systems usally dont allow for a manifold swap. But i could be way off here not rwally up on the dodge trucks.

This would already be a single plane manifold as with port injection the manifold is only moving air so the wet flow problems that come with carbs or TBI that need 2 plane manifolds to crutch the cylinder to cylinder delivery problems are not required and not used with port injection.
