Single stage or BC/CC for white truck??

I have a white 93 stepside that needs some new paint. Because it's white I was wondering if I could use a single stage acrylic urethane to save some time and money. I was thinking about getting one of those paint kits from TCP global or Summit. I am not looking to win trophies, but I want it to look decent. Or should I do the BC/CC thing.... I do live in FL. Any thoughts?

Doesn't sound like a bad choice to me. Cheap paints sometimes fade, but with white, who cares???

Gloss holdout, especially in a sunny climate, would be another matter. Maybe someone here has experience with that brand.

I was also thinking of using Dupont Nason, I have left over reducer and activator so all I would need is paint. I know it's decent quality and not that expensive. I think I am safe with it being white... I wouldn't spray black single down here. I also plan on keeping up with the waxing so I think gloss holdout shouldn't be too much of a problem.
