single stage paint

Hi

My grandson and I just finished painting his PU truck, flat black, single stage paint. Our question is there are some spots that are shinny instead of looking flat. Can we wet sand those shinny spots out?

Next time use SPI 2201-1 single stage flat black.
It is almost fool proof.
Those shiny spots most likely wouldnt be there, nor any tiger striping in the sheen.
You can change the sheen by the amount of reducer used from 4:1 up to 8:1. 6:1 seems to be a very popular look.
