I have a 2 stage devilbiss about the same size, 7 hp, 80 gallon. It still runs a bit when using my 8" orbital. I was using the one out at my dads which was 5 hp 60 gallon. Trust me running air tools for bodywork and painting, you will appreciate the larger compressor. Mine was on sale in the $700 range I believe, and don't regret spending the money for it.
