Wiki edit count frozen. The wiki needs help in general but I was basically waiting until the forum was taken care of first.

Helena,
Can you give us an update on this issue? It's been about 6 weeks now.
Thanks.

Don't hold your breath Roger.....

Its been three weeks since Helena asked for other issues and not one thing has changed.
It would appear things have stalled and this is as good as it gets.

I wish the home page would get back on rotation. So easy to keep up with project journal entries that way.
They are one of my favorite things on this site.

Admittedly, this is a minor annoyance but she said it should have been fixed by Monday 6 weeks ago. Doesn't seem like it should take a programmer long to do. There are a couple of other issues I see that are very minor annoyances that didn't used to be there but am waiting for others to be fixed before I even mention those.

I hope the photo uploading is fixed soon. That one is very major since no new photos can be uploaded right now.

Anything going to be fixed?

Are you still waiting for the membership to get complacent so you don't need to fix anything at all?

Responses would be nice.

Not even close.
Looks like some of the concerns when the forum was sold are valid.

We were assured that we shouldn't have those concerns too.

Not only have I gotten complacent, I seldom do much checking or even post much any longer. The 'dynamics' of this site along with many of the old timers have gone the way of the gooney bird - oblivion

I used to love tuning in here, but lately it just depresses me as the place is falling apart.

Its like the slums in a big city that were once thriving areas. Its just falling apart around here and its hard to look at every day. It irritates me to no end when people don't give a c#^%$ about their job.

Do you even think Helena will even respond to this thread anymore? I doubt it very much. She gets email notification of each post.

Unfortunately, this is a problem on many sites. The sites change ownership and then change what they are offering, the early posters have gone on to other things, or worse. People get testy (me!!) when others don't hear the answer they want to hear or refuse to use the search function. I've tried to hang in here with the new folks, but it is getting more difficult every day. Oh well - off to do something worthwhile now.

I agree I was always drawn to this site and had to see what was new every day!! innovative, technical, power, speed new, projects, great fabrications, good questions worth answering and dialog between members good or bad!! there was always something!! Now I drop in every few weeks and its the same questions same last pics posted same answers and same problems not repaired!! I dont even want to bother to answer the questions any more thieve been answered over and over! what happened to hot rodding on hot rodders ? there's even a bashing O Bama thread on here!!!! that mentions blow jobs in the white house!LOL politics ,religion, race , have no place on here even in the lounge!! Id rather see an argument on carbs verses injection with 5 letter swearing!!!! or some thing on street racing that would get dumped ! How about 2 lane blacktop or hollywood knights

I thought last picture posted was a great feature I could click on it and go to great posts that I normally would miss!! I see MartinSr.'s red white and blue van in my sleep now LOL!!!!

I thought everything was being fixed!!!!!

Chris
