Site working REALLY slow for me

Jon, lately (past week) HR.com is working REALLY slow for me, sometimes it's pretty fast but a lotta times I find myself waiting for a long time to load. My internet works fine, most other sites work fine.
Is it my comp or are is there a problem? Maybe I'm the only one

Mike

I just noticed that too Mike.

I don't spend all that much time here anymore, but I noticed it today.

Same here. And now I am glad it isn't just me, especially since I have been raving on the Firefox browser, and how it is faster than IE

BTW, it is faster, especially downloading pictures. And if you have it, I found a way to make it even faster. Click here if you use Firefox.

The recent board slow times are due to our upgrade procedures.

I know it's annoying guys. The important thing is that we know exactly why it's happening, and it will stop soon. Sometimes, with board upgrade/maintenance procedures, I have to make a choice between shutting down the board for a process, or keeping the board online, but slowing it down.

Yes, we've had some recent downtimes (including last night) due to our upcoming board upgrade procedures. Sorry about the annoyance -- it should be all over soon.

Nice to know it's not my imagination. I thought my advanced age was catching up on me.

Just wait until that Yogi quote shows up after you click the submit button in a thread, then all that precious information you typed gets lost. But I'm sure the new features are worth the small inconvenience.

If you are writing a post that requires a good bit of thought, write it in Word or Notepad and save it there. Then cut and paste when you are ready to post.

With my Internet Explorer I can just hit the back button, a "page cant display" page appears, I click back again and I'm back to my post screen.
