Six of one half a dozen of the other moment

As the title says I had a Six of one half a dozen of the other moment today,
As I was working in the garage I could hear the wife out in the yard with what sounded like the hedge trimmer.
I Honestly paid no attention my project lead me to needing my sawsall I looked all over for it but it was no where to be found.

I was convinced one of my kids had taken it so I opened the door to go find my daughter (who is six and already has a record of taking my tools) I look over and what do I see, My wife cutting suckers off a tree and trimming branches with My sawsall.

At that moment I had a choice to make do I go get the saw and risk being put to work or do I just smile and go back into the garage.

I shut the door and moved onto another part of my project. after all my hunny do list is huge already.

Hi
If it didn't bother her, there's no problem. If she wanted you to do it, she knew where you were.

I think you made a wise decision,, I would be REALLY surprized if I saw my wife even looking at doing something that labor intensive, much less actually doing it,
if its shown on HGTV,, we can do it too, is her way of thinking,,

It got to the point where I put parental control on HGTV and house hunters, I endured the questions and accusations of doing it from her for 2 weeks , before really cracking up ,and having to give in,,, she was going nuts trying to figure out the code,, even called comcast,
best trick yet,,,,

kcOkfg, you definitely showed wisdom beyond your years when you quietly smiled and returned to the garage. That is a knowledge and quality that some of us have to learn the hard way but no more.

Rat, consider yourself lucky. Mine plays HLN, OWN, ID and Court in Session "Loudy" 24 freaking 7. Sure does make me get more things done outside.

That and getting me trapped in that damn small car 'where I can't get away,, is the reason I have selective hearing,, and NEVER wear my hearing aids.." this is the truth so help me god" the word "HUH" repeatably sure shuts em up in a hurry,, when they are pissed they don't talk so much, and "thats the way I like it" un-huh un-huh,,

The worse place for my selective hearing is in the car going down the highway - - - - the background noise really bothers me - - - - I always drive and the wiffy will turn her head away from me and talk to the passengers side window - - - - I used to comment about it but now I just ignore and act like I didn't know she said anything.

isn't it amazing how most women are alike, or at least have the same traits?
thats the same thing my wife does,, only she does the driving 99% of the time cause I doze off for a nap,,when I drive, ( works every time,, Gar-on-teed) , and she is scared to ride with me she talks to the windshield or the window also,, but mostly mumbles under her breath , something about a" dumb deaf a z z hole"
must be a" girly thing" just like the stupid movies they watch.. Over and Over and Over again.. then records them to keep watchin,, and deletes my drag races that I havn't been able to get control of the controler long enough to watch
I put a new Big screen TV in my man cave,, and now the gran kids have control of that one,,, guess I'll just have to "nap" with out watching TV

I wish that worked with my wife. If I find my wife doing something she asked me to do, she'll do it. Then she'll let me hear about it later!

It never ceases to amaze me, that at 58 years of age, that I can't make it to the Target store without directions, where to turn, which driveway, where to park. When I get real pissed I either turn up the radio with a smile, or park, about as far away as I can find a spot.
