size of the engine

are 305 and 350 the same size i length and with need help

They are the same physical size.

I see you are in Duluth mn. I`ve been to the world of wheels show there a few times, dang it was clod.

so there is no differents in dimensions on the 305 and 350

Yep all small block chevys are the same size on the outside.

is there any way the factory could of put a 350 in and not a 305 like the vin says? because it has tones of power. every one i talk to says they cant belive that the vin says it is a 305. because i can some the hell out of my tiers

Some one may have changed it. Check the little pad on the front of the block,passenger side,where the head meets the block, This will tell you what size it is.

A 305 will smoke the tires with the right gear ratio.

Or if the tires are old and hard.

Right in front of the passenger cylinder head, probably behind your alternator. Its a little flat spot with some numbers stamped in it. Get the last 3 digits and go to this site and match them up to find out what engine you have. http://www.nastyz28.com/spmenu.html
