Beenaway2long is that your purple 54/55 pickup?? It is very nice!! It's almost exactly what mine is going to end up looking like.....(I hope). I'd like to get a sketch for it to play around with color schemes. Would like to try a 2 tone silver/ candy apple red. but who knows paint isnt going on till spring.

How do you edit the size down? I scaled it down, so properties are less than 300 pixels wide, and its still the size of Godzilla!

Nice drawings! I'd like to get a line art drawing of a 49 Hudson. Would this picture work - or do you need a full on side view instead? And instead of the stock hupcaps shown the illustration should have Moon Eyes solid racing disk style covers.



I'm doing a resto-rod on this car and have over 600mb of pictures detailing the ongoing project located at http://www.49C8.Com

Some interesting details of the build so far... Big Block 454/TH400, 4 camera Color IR rear-view camera system, Heads Up Display (or HUD for the Hudson)

Some concept line drawings would really help me with graphics and getting some sponsorships!

I don´t want to mess around constructing the view.
I just did a search and not many pictures of this car side on exsist, maybe ´cos it´s so darn long.

Thanks - I'll see what I can find for a good side view.

The 4 door stepdown Hudsons are long 124" wheelbase and they are wider than they are tall! The coolest thing about the car - Hudson was one of the first "monobilt" (Hudsons terminology for what is now known as unibody) constructed cars and only weighs 3600-3800 lbs!

That's lighter than the '05 Dodge Magnum!
