sketch your car

I did one ink sketch of my present project. Scanned the sketch and and did several color variations of the Willys. The beauty of this is, you can see the finished product before you pay for the paint job.

Now that looks like a helluva laugh sorta project. Do you have the stock vehicle? Would love to see some pictures of it standard and through the build. I you or anyone else wants to learn how to draw cars, goto the Car Design News Forums, thats where i started out, and there are lots of people there including me, willing to help you draw and render cars successfully.

go to
http://www.cardesignnews.com/
and go to forums, or go to studioto look at drawing tutorials. It takes little time to draw really amazing cars, trust me.

yes I have the real one

These where called Jeepsters and were only built from 1948 to 1950. Mine is kinda rusty but is being rebuilt with a mean 327 sbc and th 350. Will be primer(flat black sealer) and have the green and yellow flame job. Most of the engine and all the front sheet metal are at shops at this time. I hope the seats will be at the upholstery shop next week, old style tuck and roll. I have posted a couple of photos of the project.

this is a quick sketch I did of my brother's '87 Camaro Z28 to help him get some ideas for final paint. I havent had much time to actually do anything to it, other than scan it into the computer.

I used to draw a lot. This post got me going through some of my old sketches I keep stored away. Wish I had more time, or a purpose to draw nowdays. Anyways. I did these about 10 years ago before American chopper

Malc I decided to take advantage of your offer here is a pic of my Hybred jeep! I don't need lowered or anything like that just need a better image to play with paint sceme right now I am thinking about old AMC red white and blue. I've tried to do in paint but frustration sits in real fast! I was looking in your gallery to bad you didn't make the trip to Florida to Don Garlet's Museum of drag racing lots of really cool old cars draghsters and hotrods!
Hmm for some reason it doesn't want to show pics are in my album
Thanks
