Thanks. I did say I see no "huge" advantage on the strip. I've run them myself on my drag car years ago, and didn't see any measureable change in ET, or feel in performance, or roll out/RT. Considering the difference in cost, and fact that they are strip only use, I wouldn't buy them again for my dual use gassers.

I run those on my pro street c10. They are better on the road than my Moroso drag specials on my chevelle.

I run and have run Mickey Thompson Sportsman / Sportsman Pros on all my Pro Street Vehicles. Been using them for a lot of years on a lot of vehicles and never once had an issue

I am also guilty of driving on the street with Full Race Non DOT Slicks and even Non DOT Skinnys but only for short cruises to and from shows. The problem is heat and parkway driving would almost guaranty a failure. I wouldn't recommend it
