Skinny trim rings

I have some steel wheels off a 76 Monte Carlo 15x7 (not rally's) and am thinking about the skinny Hot Rod type trim rings. All I see on wheel sites are mount on old 40-50's wheels. Anyone use these on newer steel wheels?
Pics?

I have used the early Ford type ( like on my 32 ) on later model rims ... no problem.
Most of the reproduction Ford parts folks like Bob Drake sell them for around 25 dollars each.

Back to trim rings,
Wondering also (different car) about rings that cover where the rim meets the center. (see pic)
Had a poor powdercoat job.

Searching the web has not been so helpful. Most the wheel companies have poor pictures.

Ideas?

"Hot Rod Ribbed" rings

S10Fan - You've got the look I wanted for my Tundra. I could not find proper center caps for my wheels, though, so I went with the chrome lug nuts.

skinny trim rings

S10FAN, I apologize for us turning the trim ring thread into two threads. The trim ring, wheel and cap combination looks great on your truck. I would love to put trim rings on my steelies and baby moon caps but I don't know what would fit, will trim rings fit on basically all steel wheels. The ones on front of my truck are 15"x6" Chevy and take an over the nub type baby moon cap, the rear wheels are 15"x10" with an inset baby moon caps based on that info do you know what might fit?

Mine or his, my wheels were on the truck when I bought it. It looks great with the red wheels, I painted the springs and shackles red and lots of red in the flames and I pinstriped it in red.

I'm not sure about the caps. My caps are reproductions of 1936 Chevy truck caps and they attach to the wheel like a Chevrolet "derby" style cap. The trim rings are available from a long list of vendors. A quick Google gave me several options, here's one....... http://hubcapmike.com/trim-rings-beauty-rings.html I don't see why the rings wouldn't fit most any wheel, but I'd ask the seller to verify. Good Luck!
