Does anyone know anything about this Skip White guy, from White Performance in Kentucky/Tenn? He has really good prices but am wondering if it's junk and too good to be true. He's all over e-bay.

Skip White (Whites Performance) is first rate as to shipping and customer service. Highly recommend them.

The low priced parts are mostly Chinese products. Some (Distributors) seem to be very well made and work OK. Some (Various brackets and ignition wires) are USA made products and are good.

Agree with Frisco 100%, got a set of their ceramic coated headers for my ex-Pickup, VERY nice. Put one of their $49.95 HEI's in my Monte after the new Accel innards I put in the stocker wouldn't fire, worked so well I ordered two more just to have on the shelf. As mentioned before their customer service is defintely 5 Stars!!!

Don't know Skip, but know his dad, Fred started that buisness many moons ago, probably around early 70's.
They are located about 30 miles from me, have dealt with them on occasions. No complaints.

i called skip white to order some items,at the end i asked whats the shipping,and i was amazed.the shipping was way to much.if the parts are cheaper,but, they make it up on the shipping ,the bottom line is the total bill,it's no brainer.their policies need to change.

Hi, Actually, I'm Fred White's only child, Elaine & Skip is my cousin from TX. Skip rents part of my dad's building & sells auto parts on eBay. Dad's machine shop has been open in Kingsport since 1979, but we're from Erwin. Skip worked for his dad in TX in the scrap metal business & I'm following in my dad, Fred's, foot steps & becoming a next generation racer. I agree, my dad, Fred White is the founder & CEO of WhitePerformance********************* *************
Skip is my cousin & he is new to the auto parts field, he used to work for his dad in TX @their metal scrap yard, but now he rents building space from my dad & Skip sells parts on eBay. I hope we're able to help you. Thanks, Elaine

I am running the small cap breakerless distributor with remote coil from Skip White on the 355 in my T-bucket and couldn't be happier with it. It uses HEI plug wires .

Charger, unless you haven't heard UPS and Fed-Ex have all raised shipping rates as of the first of the year.Example I sold a 15X5" Ford steel Rim for $10 the UPS Ground shipping was $48,Fed-Ex Ground was $39 with prices now higher at the pump don't look for shipping to get any cheaper,if it rides in a truck the expense will be on the consumer, have you noticed your favorite brew cost more than 2 years ago,guess why?

I have bought parts from them several times. Nothing to complain about, except their lowest priced ministarter. It works well. No problem with that. But the small bendix tooth-wheel sticks too far out thru the machined aluminum block, and the enclosed starter bolts were just ordinary bolts.

Because of this, the bendix wheel touched the flex plate during driving.
Since I live in Norway, a return is out of the question because of freight costs.

To cure the problem, I bought a set of real starter bolts and made a shim between the starter aluminum block and the starter itself.

Glad you're happy with your purchase. We're trying to get Skip to buy less products from China & more from USA, but he's still learning the parts business. One day, hopefully, we'll get him to buy an American car, LOL. My dad, Fred White, is the owner of the business & was a veteran NHRA/IHRA drag racer, engine builder and "only" American made car owner. We are doing better keeping up with our competitors: Jegs.com, SummitRacing.com and NickelsPerformance.com.
