I do remember a switch on the intake that was not hooked up and there were no wires. I thought it was for the switch pitch convertor. The ST300 did use one didn't it?
Yes, the ST300 used both an electric solenoid kickdown and another electric solenoid valve for the switch pitch. The switch on the intake would have had terminals for both. B&M and others sell generic switches that go on the throttle linkage as noted above.
