slamming stock '48 chevy sedan

I hate cutting up good stuff. This car is to nice to cut but I just have to get the nose down. I should bite the bullet & mustang it. I would rather just torch the springs and go for a ride but I know it would ride like crap. I wonder how long I can tolerate the poor ride quality.

Not sure if your asking about lowering the front end or chopping the car. What do you have on the car right now, is the chassis and suspension original?

What is wrong with the ride and what is it doing?
