Sliding pivot hidden hinge

I remembering seeing in Street Rodder magazine a hidden hinge that had a sliding pivot that as the door is opened, the pivot slides out away from the body. I want to say it was made by Rocky hinge company or maybe related to Bear claw hinge. I emailed Rocky hinge but they say they don't what I'm talking about. Anybody recall something like this? Or better yet have a picture?
Thanks, Rudy. <><

Sounds like a major pain to me. If you're having trouble finding something in this day and age, there's usually a reason.

Don't know about the sliding pivot hinges, but these make for a real clean install when finished, they are similar to the "electric-life" hinges.

Could you lay a tape measure along side of hinges when taking pictures?
Thanks so much, Rudy.
