Im getting slight orange peel effect on my base coat. At this point Im not sure if the slight orange peel existed on the primer/sealer or was created by the basecoat.

My question is If I shoot clearcoat and sand down the orange peel on the clear and buff does it matter that there was slight orange peel on the base? or will the orangle peel show through the clear?
Once again this is very very slight . I know that some basecoat manufactures doesnt recommend wet sanding a basecoat before clearing but anyone had any experience wetsanding a basecoat before applying the clear?

Im using;
HOK Orion Silver and HOK Galaxy Gray as the base and SPI Universal Clear

I can't imagine the peel in the base showing through the clear if you cut the clear with 800grit and throw on two more coats.
