Check to be sure you get fuel flow immediately from the accelerator squirters. Might help changing to the bigger shot hole in the linkage, if it isn't already. Not necessarily for a bigger pump squirt, but because it will place the pump piston at a different place in the bore. This is what might help the pump to give a quicker delivery.
Could be the timing- if you're using a vacuum advance can, the decrease in vacuum caused by the acceleration will cause the timing to drop. Possibly adding some more total timing and decreasing the vacuum advance a like amount might help.
