The 010 block is a basic 350 block. Nothing too special but a good builder. Chevy made millions of them. I have 2 running right now.

The 882 heads (running a set right now also!) are the mid 70's smogger heads. 76 cc chambers. Good stock head and still lots to be had. Overall, just a stock smogger 70's engine.

re: Small Block Chevy Question

According to Mortec.com the heads are: 74-80...350/400......76cc chambers. The block could be anything:
3970010....302.....69....4...Z-28 Camaro
3970010....327.....69....2...Trucks and industrial
3970010....350...69-80...2 or 4
If you can make out the numbers stamped on the pad to the left of the water pump, it can be narrowed down. You can also go to the Mortec site and it'll show you where to find the casting dates
