The common factory setting was 1 turn but it has been my experience that performance hydraulic cams work better with 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Your results may vary. The ABSOLUTE MOST IMPORTANT THING is making sure you are at zero lash before you adjust. It's easy to miss, especially with new lifters.
