Small welder made from car alternator

Lawnmower alternator

I am working on mine, had 5 spare chevy internal regulator alternators. Three disassembled now to find wore out brushes.

THE huge bus alternator? it is going in a windmill.

I plan on trying to edm, make a bolt burner from the output from one of these.. it puts out about 90 volts running 3000rpm with the fields tied open energized..
