smb 400

I have a small block 400 that is 30 over with a set 6” rods what would the displacement be.
It has roller rockers-cam –lifters----a set of world sportsman heads 64cc---is there any way you could give an estimate of what kind of horsepower it may have

Displacement is 406, but not near enough info for a horsepower guess. Need cam specs, comp ratio, ect.

Still not enough info for HP estimate. The rod length doesn't affect displacement.

I will have to go and look at the cam box and see what the spec's are on the cam and ect-- What about the 5.5 rod vs the 6" rod which would be the best

If you do a thread search, there have been several discussions on long/short rod pros and cons.
