Smoke from air bleed
This is probably an embarrassingly easy question, but that cap that sticks up on the left side (from front) valve cover of my Chevy 350 (I have Edelbrock aluminum valve covers)is an air bleed of some sort, isn't it?
The reason I ask is that I've got some smoke coming from it. It sort of puffs smoke up, rythemetically (every half second or so).
What could this be?
Inoperative, ineffective or missing crankcase ventilation system.
So these things shouldn't be smoking at all?
It isn't THAT much smoke. But I want to be sure that there aren't any problems.
