smoke under dash

for some reason my generator light stays on while driving and some smoke started coming from my amp gauge,also oil started running on my gas pedal. now my car keeps running even with the ignition switch off

Seriously, disconnect the positive terminal at the battery and then find out what's going on. You might catch it on fire if there's an un-fused short of some kind.

you got some bad wireing going on there.short/grounding out somewhere .like cobalt said better shut it down before it is to late. cole
