Smokey focus sometimes

2006 ford focus,2.0 four cylinder, auto. My problem is that it smokes when you gas it, it's not blue smoke but white smoke, it almost stalls out when it starts smoking, thought it could be head gasket leaking but no coolant loss or overheating, also no water in oil but there is a little more than normal condensation out of the exhaust. It doesn't do this all the time, but gradually getting worse

Clean the maf and throttle body. Is the temperature gauge working?

Try cleaning the maf sensor. Sounds like it's running rich

Have you tried pressure testing the cooling system just to eliminate possible head gasket issue?

No fuel smell conning from exhaust. Going to try replacing EGR and plugs. Drove it around block it smoked really bad and got really sluggish but cleared up when I pulled into driveway
