Snap,Voala and its done

Tonight I was working on the band truck and got thinkin bout something funny.
Seems funny how everyone in the group *****s bout how much they do yet don't realize how much work goes into truck repairs.
For instance I've put brakes, lines, floor in cab, reattached seat to rotted floor(in winter),exhuast, tune up etc...into this thing and all I get is "Oh good job".
One time one of the guys was talking bout getting another cube truck thats a bit more solid than ours. But has a blown motor and has sat for over a year(rusted brakes, lines etc..).And said"You could just swap all our parts over".OH YEA!!!
Better yet was "Well we could get it and put the cube box on our truck".Yea I'll get right on it!!!I'll just get my hoist out and do it in that spare 2 weeks I allways have every month!!!
I dunno I found this hilarious. Some people just don't realize what its like to lay under a car and get grease and rust in the eye.

Ahhhhhhhh, the disadvantages that come from being a hot rodder... I'd tell them the fun is over, make them get dirty with you. You have a band? Cool, got any of your stuff on the net?

I feel ya bro! Years ago we used to rent one of those uhaul's. At times, if the gig was close enough, we'd even be transporting everything in our vehicles. How "rock & roll" is that... unloading your drums at a gig, from the mighty 86 Celebrity!!! Fortunately my bass player had enough scratch to buy a nice truck and trailer. No problems now! More than enough room and more importantly no mechanical issues.

Hang in there bro!

Rock on and God bless...

P.S. As Mike said, do you have any stuff out on the web to listen to? I'm always excited to hear other people's stuff... even better when they're a fellow hotrodder! If you guys wanna hear some of our stuff, there's a link to our site in my profile under homepage.

Oh I hate when people don't know or appreciate how much time and effort some repairs take. Someone was in my honda one time, back when it had about 220,000 miles on it. She said "wow your car has alot of miles on it" I said "yea, hopefully the engine and transmission hold up for a couple more years" She said, "well if they broke, couldn't you just like fix them, you're good at that kind of stuff."

At this point I told her to open her door, she did, and I kicked her out of the car while it was moving.

if I didn't have to go to work right now I could add about 5 more stories.

Well nothing on the net.I'm not puter literate I need to get something up.We have a 8song CD out.It gets decent local play on the local stations and got one of our songs on a station in Ohio last year.
I do two bands right now my main group and a second to try and fill the schedule a bit.
