so close

The 51 is so close to being runable. I have the headers on carb bolted down and the ignition wired. It has an aftermarket crossmember so you can't run a manual fuel pump. I took the electric pump off and tried to get it to work with no luck. My dad had an old one and it wouldn't work either. I will have to order one and don't have the $70 for one right now. Maybe next week. We have cranked it by pouring gas in the carb though. There is some pics off the motor in my gallery

10-4, I have one of those and the regulator also that I'd give him but the shipping would be almost as much as the price of a new one.

Like I said, you're welcome to this one if you want to pay the postage - - - it uses this regulator also - - - - I took it off my 55 a couple of months ago and it was working just fine at the time.
