So do i need a An fitting Wrench kit?

So i'am doing my first fuel plumbing job with steel braided lines my question is should i go buy the an wrench kit for 45 bucks from summit i really do not want to ruin the paint on the fittings.. is their any tips how to get by without the wrenchs? thanks

Not Paint. Anodized aluminum. Been using them for years with no expensive wrenches. Adjustable wrench with duct tape on jaws will do the trick.

As long as your regular wrenches have a good surface finish on the inner side (mine are Craftsman and Snap-On) and you are not ham fisted you can assemble and tighten them without problems or scratches. You don't absolutely need the AN wrenches unless your tools are in bad shape.

I've been messing with AN fittings for 15 years and don't mave the fancy wrenches.

I use regular wrenches.... Work's good enough for me.. Take your time, You will be OK..
