So How Much Glue ?

According to Maple Leaf sales, my K Spray is defective because it pours like water and not like syrup. The rep stated that there has been a change in the formula but not one that should cause this to happen. So since I'm getting a whole gallon for free, I decided to spray a left over piece of sewfoam with it and inquire whether this is too much or too little to use when securing your material to the foam. Let me know what you think.

That's about 10 times more than you need. The object of gluing the fabric to the sew foam is only to hold the pieces together long enough to sew around the pattern line at the perimeter, and that takes a minimal amount of glue. After you have sewn the piece around the perimeter, the glue has no function anymore. That's why I recommend using foam to foam glue that is not high heat resistant and will release when sitting in a hot car.

The reason you glue the fabric to the sew foam is to provide a smooth, flat, stable surface so the fabric doesn't shift against the foam while you're sewing it and create wrinkles or puckers.

And that's what K Grip is, correct?

Yes, that's what K-Spray and K-Grip are.
