solid body mounts

are there any benefits to a solid body mount over a polyurithane?!?

You won't ever have to go to the dentist to get a tooth extracted again! Just curious but why would you want to use a solid body mount to begin with? You will take a very serious beating the first time that you drive it down the road....if it rode smooth with a solid mount the manufacturers would've used them years ago....I say go with the ribber or poly.

I don't agree.....a unibody car is basically a car with frame and body as a solid unit. The ride may be a bit rougher, but suspension and seats etc should make it acceptable.

However, why would you want to do this? The poly bushings are the way to go.

Solid mount the body....

or find some thick rubber and make up mounts...It sounds like your looking to save a few bucks,right? Or save up until you can buy the proper setup.

This might sond like a dumb question but can one motor mont wear out before the other? I swear my 350 sits kinda crooked

thanks for the responses! sorry for the not responding earlier, i went out of town this weekend! i was just curious if there was any benefit over the poly bushings thats all! so all of yall seem to agree that poly is the way to go! which is pretty much what i was thinkin but i just wanted to make sure! thanks again
